Riverwalk Communities

Located just a few blocks from the scenic Ohio River in downtown Evansville, Riverwalk Communities provides the care your loved ones need while keeping them active in the community. The premiere facility accommodates adults needing assisted living and day care services with compassion and support.

Riverwalk residents in our Assisted Living program enjoy their independence and privacy while those in our Adult Day Care program enjoy a busy day of structured activity and social programs. We strive to provide care to all that need it, no matter the cost.

If you really want to see why Riverwalk Communities is the best adult-care facility in the tri-state area, hear it from the people who know best. Read what our residents and their families have to say.

My husband was a very vibrant, active person. He had a major heart attack, multiple bypasses; a portion of the heart is no longer functioning. While he was recuperating he had a major stroke. He’s had two minor strokes since that time. It affected his short-term memory. It was our intention for him to go [to adult day care] a couple of days a week, just to get him interacting with other people and to give me a break. He now goes five days a week because he wants to go. It really has made a tremendous difference in him and it has freed up my days. You go some places and you find babysitting. And that isn’t the case at Riverwalk.

My grandmother likes it there. I have stopped by many times and her room has always been clean. They have been very good at relaying information and the nurses have taken very good care of her. I haven’t had any problems getting any questions answered. The rooms are nice and they let her bring her own furniture and helped get it in the room the way she wanted it. The last time I visited she had 3 nurses/assistants in her room watching over her and all hugged and kissed her forehead before leaving.
